Cold Lake COVID free once more
Cold Lake is officially COVID-19 free once more after the city previously reported two active cases earlier this month.
Both cases recovered, bringing Cold Lake’s total recoveries to five, with no reported deaths in the city from the virus since the pandemic was declared in Alberta.
Meanwhile, there are still two remaining active cases in the County of St. Paul as well as the County of Vermilion River each with no deaths reported in either County. The St. Paul and Vermilion areas have seen three and eight recoveries, respectively.
There remains one active case in Smoky Lake County, which so far has seen ten recoveries.
The M.D. of Bonnyville and County of Lac La Biche remains case-free.
There was an additional 103 active confirmed cases in Alberta on Thursday, with 1084 total active cases across the province.
Just 11,300 of the 12,604 confirmed cases have recovered, while there have been 228 deaths–there were no new deaths reported.
