New confirmed COVID-19 case in County of St. Paul

A new confirmed case of COVID-19 is in the County of St. Paul as of Friday.

The Alberta Government’s virus data map shows this as the second currently active of novel coronavirus in the County, which has also reported three recoveries.

There is still one active case in the Cold Lake with four recoveries.

Five active cases of the virus remain in the County of Vermilion River, with eight recoveries.

All ten cases reported in Smoky Lake County now have resolved symptoms.

There are no active cases in the M.D. of Bonnyville, Lac La Biche County, and County of Two Hills.

On Friday, 84 new cases of the illness was confirmed and one Albertan died.

The provincial death toll from COVID-19 is 221.

The Edmonton zone has the most active cases in the province with 497.

The Calgary zone currently has 305 active cases, the North zone has 103, the Central zone has 81 and the South zone has 45.

There are five active cases that have not yet been linked to a particular zone.
