St. Paul Firefighter’s ball postponed
The St. Paul Fire Department 75th Anniversary Celebration has been postponed until 2021 due to current health restrictions.
“We are sincerely saddened by this turn of events, which unfortunately, is out of our control,” wrote chief Trevor Kotowich in a press release.
“We look forward to seeing all of our friends and family in an environment that is safe for us to enjoy.”
The event was originally scheduled for April 18, 2020, and now the new date has been set for Saturday April 17, 2021.
In the department’s press release, they stated that guests who purchased a ticket for this year’s ball would be allowed to retain their reservations, but would also offer refunds to anyone that would prefer one.
The event was sold out this year, and because a waiting list has been established the department isn’t making any guarantees for tickets becoming available at a later date.
No word yet on any potential events to make-up for this year’s cancelation.
