Two Hills RCMP is investigating two suspicious fires south of the town last week.

Late on July 24, RCMP responded to a house fire in the rural area south, while a second was reported three kilometres away at a church.

Police said the church was completely destroyed and both fires have been deemed suspicious by a fire investigator.

No one was injured as both buildings had no occupants inside.
