Rain postpones Vermilion’s Canada Day plans tonight
Vermilion’s Canada Day celebrations have been postponed once again.
Due to the amount of rain over the past two days, the drive-in movie and fireworks show planned for tonight (Tuesday night) will not go ahead.
The event was supposed to be at the Lakeland College football field with the drive–in movie Pixar’s Onward starting at 10:00pm and fireworks at 11:45pm.
Enbridge provided a donation to run the event after the Town originally cancelled festivities due to COVID-19.
