On June 3, 2020 Vermilion RCMP received a complaint about a male suspect repeatedly making unwanted contact with a female minor.

On June 4, 2020 Vermilion RCMP with the assistance of Kitscoty RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence in Mannville, Alberta. A male suspect was taken into custody in relation to this incident.

Jim Douglas Wilson, aged 32 of Mannville is charged with:

  • Criminal Harassment – 1 count
  • Breach of Release Conditions – 6 counts
  • Breach of Probation – 2 counts
  • Possession of a Weapon contrary to Prohibition Order – 1 Count

Jim Wilson was held to appear before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody to next appear on Monday June 15, 2020 in Vermilion Provincial Court.

As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be released.
