Bonnyville G.I.S. Unit execute search warrant, lay trafficking charges
Three people have been charged with drug possession after a warrant was executed on Tuesday.
On June 2, the Bonnyville RCMP GIS unit, Bonnyville Detachment members, and the Eastern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit (EADCRU) executed a search warrant on a motel room in Bonnyville.
In excess of 46 grams of methamphetamine was seized, along with over $800 in Canadian currency, and materials consistent with drug trafficking.
Tess Lenore Jenkins, 38, of Elk Point is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
Jenkins was released by a Justice of the Peace to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on July 21.
Connie Ernestine Watchmaker, 46, and Wilson John Watchmaker, 63, both of Kehewin are each charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine.
They were both released to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on August 25.
