Bilodeau to return to court June 18 to schedule preliminary inquiry

The Glendon man accused of two counts of second-degree murder will have his matter return to St. Paul Provincial Court on June 18.

Last Thursday, the file returned to court as the crown prosecutor and defence counsel received disclosure, evidence from police, after the last court date in April.

The next steps will be scheduling a preliminary inquiry in front of a judge to hear evidence to decide whether there is sufficient evidence to stand trial.

Anthony Bilodeau has been charged with second-degree murder of 39-year-old Jacob Sansom and his uncle 57-year-old Maurice Cardinal after their bodies were found by Bonnyville RCMP on March 28.
