Bonnyville man charged with trafficking

Bonnyville General Investigation Section Arrest Male, Lay Trafficking Charges

On April 15, 2020, at approximately 8:00 PM, the Bonnyville RCMP General Investigation Section arrested a male within the town of Bonnyville who was found operating a motor vehicle in contravention of a Canada-wide Driving Prohibition.  Upon the male’s arrest, Police located a significant quantity of suspected methamphetamine on his person.

In addition to this, police located items consistent with drug trafficking.  The male was arrested without incident and a search warrant was granted for an associated vehicle.

Travis Jeffrey Michael Gordon (27) of Bonnyville, Alberta was charged with the following offences;

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Driving while Prohibited

Gordon was released by a Justice of the Peace on conditions to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court of July 7, 2020.
