Elk Point man wins $5 Million

Alan Connor of Elk Point is now in the millionaire’s club after winning the Lotto 6/49 Jackpot on January 11, 2020.
Connor purchased his ticket at the Petro Canada in St. Paul.
“I thought I won $50,000,” Connor said in a statement on the Western Canada Lottery Corporation’s website. “But the clerk said, ‘No, you won $5 million!’”
Connor says he plans to pay of his mortgage and bills with the money, purchase a new vehicle and perhaps travel to Eastern Europe.
