On February 19th, 2020 at approximately 2:05 a.m., Kitscoty RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress to a business on a rural property located in Blackfoot, Alberta.

Police attended to the scene and were quickly able to set up containment.

With the assistance of Lloydminster RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services, members of the Kitscoty RCMP were able to locate the suspect vehicle and arrest two suspects.

Jacques Vautour (39) of Lloydminster and Michael Kuhmayer (42) of Lloydminster were each charged with the following offences:

  • Break and Enter with intent
  • Mischief

Vautour and Kuhmayer were released from custody and are set to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on March 3rd, 2020.
