Cold Lake town hall on crime on Wednesday

Cold Lake residents can voice their concerns on the state of crime in the area on Wednesday.

RCMP and dignitaries from the area will present the latest crime numbers at the Lakeland Inn from 6:00-8:00pm.

The City is currently deliberating on more safety measures to respond to calls for added security in a delegation from dozens strong at city council in January.

A decision will be made, Mayor Craig Copeland said, on how they’ll address crime after they know what money they’ll be getting from the ID 349 deal.

A crime town hall last July was sparsely attended, so local officials are hoping for a large turnout.
