Bonnyville RCMP charged a 29-year-old man with stolen property possession and flight from police on Tuesday.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Township Road 604 and Highway 657, where they found a male driving who they knew was on a suspended license and was breaching release conditions.

A warrant was obtained to enter and arrest the male.

While on the property, police saw items that matched items from a previously reported theft.

A second warrant was obtained and multiple stolen items were recovered.

Christopher Olszowka, 29-year-old, has been charged with multiple offences, including flight from peace officer, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, resist/obstruct peace officer as well as possession of stolen property over $5000.

He has been remanded into custody.
