Cold Lake Victim Services recently received two notable donations from the community. Western Financial Group donated 31 teddy bears and donated $1,500 cash and Medley CFB Society donated $5,000.

“Western Financial Group is proud to contribute and provide support to the Cold Lake community,” stated Hella-Ann Bortolotto, Cold Lake Western Financial Group Branch Manager.

  The Cold Lake branch worked with the community to raise $500 and through their Western Communities Foundation matching grant program, the branch was able to present $1000.00 to Cold Lake Victim Services.

The Western Financial Group branch took their passion for the cause one step further by purchasing 31 teddy bears that will be given out to child victims when needed. Western Communities Foundation, Western Financial Group’s charitable arm, is proud to continue to support our local communities.

“We love to do what we can to contribute positively to our local community,” said Bortolotto.

“Cold Lake Victim Services is a pillar of our community, helping our most vulnerable in times of extreme need. It is so important to be able to give back and we couldn’t think of a better way to share some positivity.”
