56 year old woman dies following rollover
On Feb. 2, 2020 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Elk Point RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 897 near Township Road 562.
Preliminary investigation revealed a SUV was travelling northbound on Highway 897 when it veered off the road and rolled several times into a ditch.
A 56-year-old female passenger from Frog Lake was pronounced deceased at the scene. The adult male driver was taken to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
Elk Point RCMP along with a RCMP Collision Analyst continue to investigate. The name of the deceased will not be released.
