Extensive damage done to Nelson Heights Middle School: RCMP

Police in Cold Lake is asking for help from residents in the Nelson Heights Middle School area to identify vandals who did extensive damage to the school earlier on Thursday.

On December 19, at approximately 2:30 a.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of vandalism at the Nelson Heights Middle School on 5th Avenue in Cold Lake.

Upon attendance, officers noted extensive damage to school property including the destruction of over 15 computers, shattered mirrors, the spraying of fire extinguishers throughout the school and various other damages.

While there are no images provided by the RCMP, police are asking any neighbouring residents to check their video surveillance between the hours of 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
