Back gate remains closed at 4 Wing on Kingsway Road

4 Wing Cold Lake’s back gate at Kingsway road will remain closed for construction until further notice, the air base said this week.

The back gate has been closed since Nov. 12 and was scheduled to be open by Wednesday before the delay was announced.

The construction area is in the same vicinity, beginning at the security guard building (851) and ending at the Marie Creek Bridge (near the 4 Wing viewing area).

Access to 4 Wing will be through Highway 28 and Centre Avenue (48 Ave, Cold Lake).

No traffic is allowed through the construction zone to ensure public safety at all times.

4 Wing apologizes if this prolonged temporary road closure causes any further inconvenience.
