St. Paul Lions are Alberta Bowl bound with 19-14 win over Ardrossan

The St. Paul Lions are going back to Provincials.
The Lions defeated the Ardrossan Bisons 19-14 in the Tier IV North Final to advance to the ASAA Alberta Bowl in Raymond next weekend.
St. Paul will face the Willow Creek Cobras who trumped the Drumheller Titans 48-7 in the South Final.
The Lions will look to finish the job this year after receiving silver in last year’s final.
It is the first time St. Paul has repeated as North Final champions en route to the Provincial Championship.
The Lions were the 6th ranked team heading into the semi-finals two weekends ago.
They defeated the Sexsmith Sabres 30-12 at Regional Field to advance to the North Final.
