Halloween dance Friday night in Ardmore meant for the kids
Put on your best Halloween costume and enjoy a great night of fun.
A free Halloween dance and games night is Friday night at the Ardmore Community Hall from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
“We just want to get the kids involved and do something for the kids,” said organizer Betty Dunham.
“It’s like a game night for the kids for their Halloween dance. There’s going to be like pizza. There’s going to be different events like throwing a pumpkin, like a ring toss. There’s gonna be like a fear factor. Donut on a string. There’s a whole bunch of little events. Plus, there’s a dance and free pizza,” she said.
This is the first Halloween dance for kids the Ardmore Society has put on.
“We just wanted something for the kids to do instead of them being on the street doing nothing. The adult ones didn’t really work because they had too many parties at the same time, so it kind of just didn’t work for the adults. And I says, well, let’s do a kids one. That was my goal,” said Dunham.
Kids from 0-16 are encouraged to come and wear their best Halloween costume for the chance to win prizes in different categories.
The hall will be full of Halloween decorations, including a dragon and a hearse.
Dunham encourages kids to come to the Hall on Friday night.
