Muriel Lake campground will have a new feature next season.
The M.D. approved seasonal camping rentals in 2020 for the Muriel Lake campground from May to September, which would allow campers to book one spot for extended periods of time.
Currently, the M.D. only allows a maximum of two-week bookings on their campgrounds, except for Vezeau Beach as that was part of the previous owners’ operations.
M.D. administration is considering bringing in equestrian campsites while continuing to promote usage of winter and summer trails.
Season rates for non-powered campsites will be $375.00 per month and powered sites will cost $450.00 a month.
