Easton Hesse has been recognized by the AJHL as the league’s Ford Defensive Player of the Week for his two wins over the AJHL Showcase.

The 19-year-old followed that up with a great performance at the Showcase with a 3-2 overtime win versus the host Camrose Kodiaks, stopping 34 of 36 shots on goal.

Hesse then allowed just one goal on 35 shots the following day in a 2-1 win over the Whitecourt Wolverines.
