Two arrested following search of St. Paul motel

St. Paul RCMP and EADRCRU execute search warrant at St. Paul motel

The Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit (EADRCRU) along with St. Paul RCMP and Eastern Alberta District General Investigation Services (EADGIS) executed a search warrant at a local motel for controlled substances on Aug. 15, 2019. Police arrested two suspects.

During the execution of the warrant, drug paraphernalia, crack cocaine and personal identification not belonging to the accused was located.

Tess Jenkins, (37) of Elk Point was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
• Possession of a controlled substance

She was released by police on a promise to appear and will be appearing in St. Paul Provincial Court on Sept. 26, 2019.

An adult male was released without charges.
