Amazing Race Canada viewing party for Anthony and James at the C2

It’s your chance to watch the Amazing Race Canada alongside the show’s locally based team.

Anthony and James who both work in Kehewin have survived so far on CTV’s The Amazing Race Canada and are hosting a viewing party for the latest episode at the Centennial Centre in Bonnyville tonight at 8pm.

It’s Episode 6 of the show’s run, and Team Ahkameyimok is hoping to continue the race after finishing the last episode in a tie for 2nd place.

Tickets are free for the viewing party with fundraising items on-site to raise money for Kehewin Health Services.

They are selling Team Ahkameyimok t-shirts at the event and at Pharmsave in Bonnyville and soon Elk Point Guardian Drugs.

Anthony and James are off to Saskatoon in the latest edition.

If the couple wins the race, they’ll take home $250,000, a paid trip around the world, and a new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer RS.

They are called Team Ahkameyimok in the show, a Plains Cree word of encouragement meaning to keep going, don’t give up, and persevere, is the couple’s mantra during the race.

Doors open at the C2 theatre at 7pm with an emcee and live Q&A during commercial breaks.

To register, go to Eventbrite through the Facebook event page.
