Thieves break into Kehewin Band Office, money stolen
Bonnyville RCMP is looking for more information on the culprits who broke into the Kehewin Band office and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
On July 5, a band officer arrived at the office with damaged multiple doors.
Among the various items stolen was an undisclosed amount of cash, said S/Sgt. Sarah Parke.
An RCMP forensics officer attended the scene.
“It’s still under investigation. We do suspect there will be some chatter regarding this incident and that somebody out there knows what happened or who was involved in anybody with information to call us,” said S/Sgt. Parke.
