Beaumont man charged with uttering threats to campers pets at Minnie Lake
Bonnyville RCMP charged a man at Minnie Lake after an intoxicated man uttered threats to campers about killing their dog.
On June 29 in the mid-afternoon, RCMP was detached to the Minnie Lake campground to arrest the male, who appeared extremely intoxicated, said S/Sgt. Sarah Parke.
He resisted arrest and kicked an M.D. Peace Officer in the face, said S/Sgt. Parke.
Forty-four-year-old Corey Roberts from Beaumont is charged with assaulting a peace officer, uttering a threat to kill an animal, resisting arrest, and two counts of mischief.
He was released to appear in court on July 23.
