Two people arrested after police see known woman driving at C2
Two people have been charged after Bonnyville RCMP members saw a known female driving at the Centennial Centre on Tuesday evening.
The male in the vehicle jumped out and attempted to run away, but was arrested for obstruction.
33-year-old Anthony Marshall from Cold Lake was charged with obstruction, flight from police, resist or obstruct a peace officer, and three counts of weapons possession contrary to an order.
35-year-old Marjorie Nichols from Bonnyville was arrested and charged with flight from a police officer, possession of methamphetamine, driving an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway, (2x) identity theft, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
A crossbow, rifle barrel, balaclava and drug instruments were seized by police during the investigation.
Both were held for judicial interim release hearings.
Nichols was also charged in relation to a house robbery in Bonnyville on June 6.
Nichols faces additional charges of forcible confinement, robbery, and theft of a motor vehicle.
That robbery investigation is ongoing.
