St. Paul RCMP charge three males with arson

Three males have been charged following an arson investigation.

On June 7 2019, St. Paul RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire at 4937 45 Ave, St Paul.  The vacant residence was fully engulfed with fire when members arrived.  Members observed and followed a blood trail leaving the house to a neighbouring garage.

William Whiskeyjack, 24 years old of along with Ryan Cardinal, 38 years old, both from of Saddle Lake, Alberta and Mitchell Soosay, 30 years old out of St. Paul, Alberta were all charged with break and enter to commit arson.

William Whiskeyjack was remanded in custody and is set to appear in court on June 10, 2019.

Ryan Cardinal and Mitchell Soosay were released by the Justice of the Peace and are to appear before the court on July 4, 2019 in St Paul.

Thankfully to the quick response of emergency services the fire was quickly contained and did not spread to other structures.
