Lac La Biche RCMP looking for two missing girls

Jayleen Favel, left, and Keyanna Ballantyne, right, have both been reported missing from the Lac La Biche area.

Lac La Biche RCMP is asking for public assistance to locate two missing 15-year-old girls.

Jayleen Favel was reported missing earlier today. Favel was last seen in the Kikino Metis Settlement.

Keyanna Ballantyne was reported missing on May 23 from Lac La Biche.

Keyanna Ballantyne is known to frequent Lac La Biche and may still be in the area. She was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black pants.

Their disappearances do not appear to be related and information was released by the RCMP separately.

Jayleen Favel is described as:

• Indigenous
• 5’1” tall
• Approximately 100 lbs
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes

Keyanna Ballantyne is described as:

• Indigenous
• 5’2” tall
• Approximately 115 lbs
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes
