Bonnyville RCMP charge two with weapons and drug related offenses
Bonnyville RCMP have charged two people after a follow-up RCMP investigation in Kehewin has led to drugs and weapons-related charges.
RCMP found 36-year-old Randall Gadwa driving despite having a suspended license on May 6th.
They arrested him along with a young female after finding a machete, a rifle and an ounce of methamphetamine.
Gadwa faces charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and three other related charges.
Brittany Omeasoo, 19-year-old from Saddle Lake, faces similar charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and possession of cocaine.
Their court dates are not yet known.
