Residents affected by apartment fire in Cold Lake North have found temporary home

At least 11 residents involved in an apartment fire in Cold Lake North have found somewhere to stay.

In the early morning hours last Tuesday, Cold Lake Fire, RCMP, Cold Lake Victim Services, and EMS were called to 10 Street about an apartment fire.

The fire damaged eight apartments and roughly 11 residents were temporarily displaced.

Some in the apartment building were taken to hospital after the fire for minor injuries, but it is believed there were no major injuries resulting from the fire.

The Red Cross chapter in Cold Lake works in partnership with Cold Lake Victim Services and provided 72 hours disaster services, including alternative living arrangements, clothing vouchers, food, and hygiene supplies.
