Lakeland Catholic School District is so proud of its students who represented the district at the North East Regional Skills Competition at Portage College on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Angel Jacob from Assumption Junior-Senior High School received a bronze medal for Culinary Arts, Megan Yukim from École Notre Dame High School received a silver medal for Culinary Arts, and Josh Diamada and Owen Munday from École Notre Dame High School received a silver medal for Video Production.

We would like to congratulate all students on a job well done. Each student took the risk to show up to the competition and showcase their skills. All students demonstrated positive attitudes and maximum effort in the context of this competition.

Based on Megan’s standing in this competition, she is eligible to compete in the Provincial Skills competition in Edmonton May 8-9, 2019.
