Members of the Eastern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (EADCRU) assisted the Lac La Biche RCMP in locating a male wanted on several firearms offense last Friday.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. EADCRU located and arrested the male at a motel in Lac La Biche.
A search warrant of the male’s motel room was granted.
Members of the Lac La Biche RCMP seized several baggies of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and pills packaged for sale along with other various drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Doyle Alex Quintal (28) of Lac La Biche was charged with 7 additional offenses, some of which include:
· Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of tracking
· Possession of cocaine
· Possession of methamphetamine
· Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
Quintal was remanded into custody and will be appearing in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on Feb. 4, 2019.
