Two Bonnyville area football players are still in the mix for the U17/18 Football Alberta team.
Offensive lineman Kistin and Navarone Watchmaker have both advanced past the first round of cuts for the provincial team.
They are joined by 17 other o-lineman who are still in the mix for the team.
A total of 400 players attended the “super weekend” camp from Jan. 11-13 at Foote Field in Edmonton. Only 130 of them advanced to the next round of cuts.
Navarone Watchmaker was on Football Alberta’s U17 team last year.
