Elk Point RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance for any information on an ATV theft in Frog Lake First Nation, Alberta.

The theft happened last Thursday at approximately 3:00 a.m where a white truck was seen leaving a private residence where a quad was taken. It was later recovered in a field with no suspects on scene.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white, older model Chevrolet regular cab with razor back and decals on the side described as “blue swirls”.

The suspect vehicle was spotted by members at the Frog Lake Store, and fled at a high rate of speed.

No pursuit was initiated due to safety concerns. The suspect vehicle is believed to have had four occupants.

Elk Point members found the ATV still had power even without the key and with the ignition in the “off” position.
