Forward Trey Thomas of the Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week, after collecting eight points (4G, 4A) in three games from November 19th-25th.  Thomas and the Pontiacs earned three consecutive wins over the week and re-claimed top spot in the AJHL North Division Standings.

Trey Thomas, 19, from Williams Lake, British Columbia enjoyed his first two-goal game of the season on Tuesday, November 20th in a 6-1 win over the Camrose Kodiaks.  Thomas scored the game winner and added two assists in the win. On Friday night, he added another goal for the Pontiacs and 2 assists, including an assist on the game winner, in a 5-1 victory against the Sherwood Park Crusaders. The Pontiacs concluded the week with a 4-1 defeat of the Lloydminster Bobcats and Thomas scoring his ninth goal of the season with an unassisted goal.

The Pontiacs hit the ice Wednesday evening against the Lloydminster Bobcats. Puck drop at 7:30pm.
