Elk Point RCMP are looking for information that could lead to the identity of multiple suspects involved in the theft of a truck. The truck is believed to be involved in a hit and run after being stolen.

On Nov. 18, 2018 at approximately 10:20 p.m. a black Ford F350, license plate BPP4115 was stolen from the parking lot of CRJ Trucking in the Town of Elk Point. The stolen vehicle was then involved in a hit and run in Bonnyville on Nov. 19, 2018 where the stolen vehicle intentionally reversed into a vehicle and took off.

Video footage shows a black Ford truck with amber roof lights entering the CRJ Trucking parking lot at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2018. It is suspected that 3-4 people were involved in the theft of the vehicle. One male exited the vehicle and attached tow straps to the Ford F350 which is dragged out of the parking lot. A passenger is seen in the window of the suspect vehicle, and a driver not shown on video drives the suspect vehicle towing the stolen vehicle. Photos are attached.

The stolen vehicle was then involved in a hit and run on Nov. 19, 2018 at 12:10 a.m. in Bonnyville, AB. No one was injured in the collision.
