Theft from lease sites
The Elk Point RCMP are seeking information on four incidents of theft from oilfield leases.
On November 15, 2018 between the hours of 8:00-10:00 a.m. 6 12-volt batteries were stolen from 4 Canadian Natural Resources (CNRL) lease sites in the Elk Point area. The total approximate damages and stolen property is $1440. These “gel” style batteries can be identified by their red tops and markings stamped “CNRL”.
Elk Point RCMP are asking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this incident or identifying those responsible.
