Fire That Severely Damaged House Near Alexander Still Under Investigation

A fire that heavily damaged a two-story farmhouse near Alexander is still being investigated.

On Wednesday afternoon, Bonnyville, Fort Kent, and Ardmore fire stations were called to a house fire on Township Road 623 in the Alexander area.

Crews worked for six hours to contain the fire, but the structure was severely damaged.

There was no one home at the time of the incident as a passerby called it into the authorities.

The fire is still under investigation by the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority to determine the cause.
