Lac La Biche RCMP investigate shots fired after Break, Enter and theft

On October 5, 2018 just before 6:00 a.m., Lac La Biche RCMP responded to a break, enter, and theft complaint at a rural property on Campsite Road near Plamondon, Alberta.

The company, Voyageur Electric, had two black F250 Ford pickups stolen from within a locked shop. The vehicles were seen travelling north on Highway 858.

A member of the public approached one of the vehicles after locating it on the side of the road to see if the occupants required assistance. The suspects discharged what was believed to be a firearm prior to driving off. No one was injured.

One of the company vehicles was located approximately 3 km’s north from where it was stolen. The second truck, a black Ford F250 bearing Alberta licence plate BTF4519 has not been located. If you spot this stolen vehicle do not approach it.
