The Bonnyville Pontiacs have announced its leadership group for the upcoming 2018-2019 Season. This season the team will be led by 20 year old Forward Grayson Constable.

The Lethbridge product has 98 games of Jr A. hockey experience and previously wore the “C” for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL. His leadership resonates both on and off the ice and will be a great ambassador for the Pontiacs’ organization.

“We have such an amazing group here, if we could hand out 24 letters we would, Head Coach and General Manager Rick Swan stated. “These players become the caretakers of our culture and are expected to play and live to a standard everyday as a Bonnyville Pontiac. We are excited to have these players’ represent our group this year, as they will do a great job representing the Pontiacs. .All represent what a Bonnyville Pontiac is as a player a citizen in our community.”

Assisting Grayson as alternate captains at home this year will be third year forward Isaac Saniga, last year’s top scorer Lucas Thorne and the team’s top goal-getter from 2017/18, Bobby Young.

Meanwhile, the team’s Top Defenseman award winner from last year, Luke Albert, as well as Sean Thomson (who was acquired in a trade in the off-season) and second year forward Joel Ray will dawn the “A” on the road.
