Cold Lake man charged in relation to Meth Trafficking Ring
A 47 year old Cold Lake man had been charged with numerous drug related offenses following a traffic stop in Glendon. RCMP believe the man is part of a drug trafficking ring.
On Aug. 31, 2018 at approximately 1:30 a.m., the Bonnyville General Investigation Section (GIS), with the assistance of other Bonnyville RCMP Detachment officers, conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Highway 28 near Glendon.
The vehicle was believed to be involved in methamphetamine trafficking in the Bonnyville area.
One male was arrested during the stop and police executed a search warrant on the vehicle. Approximately one ounce of crystal methamphetamine along with other items typically used in drug trafficking were located.
Dennis James Budenski (47) of Cold Lake, Alberta has been charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
He was released after a judicial hearing and be appearing in Bonnyville Provincial Court on Sept. 18, 2018.
