Two men were *charged Sunday evening at the campgrounds at Mudfest for speeding around pedestrians and nearly hitting them.

RCMP said they arrived after being given these reports, and were told that as people tried to stop the trucks, they were almost veering towards them.

Security detained one of the drivers before police arrived, and found him to be intoxicated. Both were subsequently charged.

A 21 year old male from Edmonton has *charges pending with dangerous operation of motor vehicle.

A 21 year old male from Bonnyville was charged with careless driving under the traffic and safety act.
