Cold Lake RCMP Investigates Armed Robbery

On August 21, 2018, at approximately 4:10 p.m. Cold Lake RCMP responded to an armed robbery in progress with a knife, at Cold Lake Liquors, in Cold Lake north. Two male suspects fled the scene on foot, but were quickly located and arrested by RCMP. No one was injured in the robbery.

Joseph Robert Alexis, 25 years old of Cold Lake, has been charged with:

• Robbery with an offensive weapon.
• Robbery with an offensive weapon.
• Assault with a weapon.
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
• Carrying a concealed weapon.
• Disguised with intent to commit an offence.
• Fail to comply with a probation order.
• Fail to comply with a probation order.

• Robbery with an offensive weapon.
• Fail to comply with a recognizance.
