20 year old man dies in single vehicle rollover

Elk Point RCMP Investigates Fatal Single Vehicle Collision

On August 10, 2018, at approximately 12:15 a.m. Elk Point RCMP responded to single vehicle rollover on Township Road 562, at the intersection of Range Road 33.

The driver, a 20 year old male was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 23 year old female was transported by STARS to an Edmonton hospital in serious condition. A 22 year old female and a 28 year old male were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. A 22 year old male was uninjured in the collision. An RCMP Collision Analyst assisted in the investigation.

All possible contributing factors related to this collision are being considered, and the collision remains under investigation. No further updates are available at this time
