This morning, the producers of Extreme Mudfest, 542 Entertainment, announced that Theory of a Deadman would not be performing at this year’s festival. Announced as replacements is Hinder, confirmed the organization.

“Unfortunately, Theory of a Deadman has let us know that they need to pull their performance for this year due to unforeseen circumstances (if we had more information, we would let you know!),” read a post on Extreme Mudfest’s official Facebook page. “We’re super excited to let you know that mulit-platinum rockers Hinder will be replacing them for the Friday night! With hits like ‘Lips like an Angel’ and ‘Better than me’, we know that they are going to put on an amazing show and keep the party going at Mudfest!”

If the opportunity arises, the organizes stated that they hope to bring Theory of a Deadman to Bonnyville in the future.

“In festivals, we work in the business of people and unforseen issues pop-up. We hope that everything is ok with the Theory crew and are super grateful for Hinder joining the party on such short notice.”

Extreme Mudfest will be hitting the Bonnyville Pro Rodeo & Chuckwagon grounds August 23rd – 26th, 2018. Along with live bands, the festival offers a demolition derby, mudbogs, a slowpitch tournament, quad races, and weekend camping. Other acts include Terri Clark.
