87 grams of cocaine and 295 grams of Ecstasy seized; one male charged

On July 21, 2018 Bonnyville General Investigative Section (GIS) with the assistance of detachment members executed a search warrant in the Sportsman Trailer Park in Bonnyville in relation to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Police arrested one male while at the residence. A search was conducted and police seized 87 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, 295 grams of a substance believed to be MDMA (Ecstasy), money, a crossbow, and other drug paraphernalia indicative of drug trafficking. The street value of drugs seized is believed to be approximately $15,000.00.

Clinton Bradley Sinclair (28) of Bonnyville, Alberta was charged with four Criminal Code offences which include:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (MDMA)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Possession of a dangerous weapon

He was released from custody on conditions and will be appearing in Bonnyville Provincial Court of Aug. 28, 2018.
