Cold Lake RCMP arrest four after collision with police vehicle

On May 21, 2018 at approximately 3:15 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP initiated a stop of a stolen vehicle on the Elizabeth Metis Settlement.

The vehicle evaded police and a pursuit was not initiated due to public safety concerns. The vehicle was later located on a dead-end road and struck the front end of a police vehicle while attempting to flee and was demobilized.

Two people were arrested and taken into custody. Two additional suspects fled the scene and were arrested the same day.

A total of 63 Criminal Code charges in relation to firearms, weapons, stolen property, driving, drugs (methamphetamine) were laid on the following individuals:

  • Jodi Bork, (27) from Peace River
  • Tashina Nepoose, (29) from Edmonton

Bork and Nepoose were remanded into custody and will be appearing in Cold Lake Provincial Court on June 13, 2018 via CCTV.

  • Gloria Cardinal, (29) from Edmonton

Cardinal was released on a Recognizance and will be appearing in Cold Lake Provincial Court on June 13, 2018.

  • Hope Crier, (19) from Wetaskiwin

Crier was released on a Recognizance and will be appearing in Edmonton Provincial Court on June 6, 2018.

As these matter are now before the courts no further information will be released.
