Those of you who own pets know the close connection that forms between your family and your companion animal.  Now, can you imagine how awful it would feel to be unable to provide for your pet?

The Cold Lake Pet Food Bank is an innovative volunteer-run organization that provides service to approximately 150 families per month who are experiencing pet food-insecurity issues.

Run by a small group of devoted animal lovers, the Cold Lake Pet Food Bank  was presented the 2017 Cold Lake and District Volunteer Award in the category, “Group Community Impact”.

 

Have a few hours to spare?

Help the Cold Lake Pet Food Bank on Sunday, May 27, 2018;

Time: 1:00 pm (please contact the organization to confirm timings)

Location: Meet at the Energy Centre parking lot

Task: Volunteers will be cleaning the ditches along the roadways in the area around Country Lane Estates

Or:

  • Clean dishes on Sundays
  • Help with an upcoming fundraising BBQ, on-line auction or bottle drive

Other Ways to Help

Would your school club, sports team, work place or social organization be interested in helping raise funds or collect pet food?  Please contact the Cold Lake Pet Food Bank to find out how you can help feed hungry animals.

Items in need

Currently, the Cold Lake Pet Food Bank is experiencing a high demand for canned cat food and cat treats.  Large breed dog kibble is always needed.
