St. Paul RCMP charge two after break and enter to rural property

On May 12, 2018 at approximately 5:50 a.m., St. Paul RCMP responded to a break and enter in the Town of St. Paul, Alberta. Two all terrain vehicles were stolen along with other property.

A related call was also received regarding the two suspects who are alleged to have bear maced a male near Range Road 103 in St. Paul County. The two males were located and apprehended with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS).  The two all terrain vehicles and additional stolen property were located and returned to its rightful owner.

Wade Gladue, an 18-year-old from Saddle Lake has been charged with:

• Breaking, Entering and Committing Theft
• Theft
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Mischief under $5,000
• Failing to comply with probation
• Resisting arrest
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

A 17-year-old male youth from Saddle Lake who can not be named has been charged with:

• Breaking, Entering and Committing Theft
• Theft
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Mischief under $5,000
• Failing to comply with recognizance
• Assault with a weapon
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Both males were remanded into custody and are set to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court via CCTV on May 15, 2018.
