Bonnyville Woman accused of Mail Theft faces Additional Charges
One of the two people suspected of a string of mail thefts in the area has been charged with additional offenses.
Cindie Stoyles, (27) of Bonnyville, was found, by RCMP, to be in breach of the conditions of her release.
Sargaent Sarah Parke, with the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment explained, “she was supposed to sign in, in person, on April 12th, between 8:30am and 4:00pm. She failed to do so.”
RCMP then located Stoyles during the evening of April 12th. “They subsequently found controlled substances on her person.”
Stoyles has been charged with:
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- 3 x failing to comply with an undertaking
“Those will be new charges, that she faces, for not abiding by the conditions that were set in her original arrest,” stated Sgt. Parke.
Stoyles was arrested on April 7th, with Michael Zuberbier in connection to a number of mail thefts. The pair were charged with 59 offenses.
Stoyles’ charges are:
- Possession of Break and enter instruments
- Mischief
- Theft of credit card
- Fail to comply (x2)
- Theft from mail (x31)
She is schedule to appear next in court on April 17th, in Bonnyville.
